I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
