WThis is a simplified take on a cocktail found on a new menu. Designed as a batch premix which is packed with the essence of the holiday season, which makes it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup to use in morning drinks, sweets, or to mix more rounds of this cocktail.

Yields 10 guests
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
Making the Cordial: Combine every ingredients into a pot, bring to a light boil, mixing to dissolve. After that, remove from the stove allowing it to reach room temperature entirely. Transfer into a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it chilled, it can be stored for about four weeks.
To make Batch Mix: Mix all the liquids into a sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then strain best through cheesecloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Measure 85ml of the premix to a mixing glass packed with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into a chilled martini glass or similar, garnish with some cranberries and finish using a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
