Vehicles in German Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Authorities reported they were notified by a man who noticed a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish substance

Around fifty cars have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's town of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were vandalized, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement state they were contacted late on Wednesday night, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then discovered multiple other vandalized cars and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement report early analysis suggest the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; investigators are not yet informed of any harm in relation with the event," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the community for details.

An important representative stated the vandalism left him speechless and needed to be solved promptly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on social media, recalling the death of nine people by a assailant targeting people of foreign heritage in February 2020.
